Daily: 7:55 a.m. to 1:25 p.m.
The Principal is available to meet Parents/ Guardians between 08:30 a.m. to 09:30 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday only. No School business will be transacted on holidays and Sundays.

Please Note: We require at least three days for processing applications for Certificates, Concession forms and other Documents. You are therefore requested to apply for them well in advance to avoid disappointment. No school business will be conducted out of office hours and on holidays
Discipline
The pupil must arrive at the school at least five minutes before the first bell.
The school reserves the right to dismiss pupils whose punctuality, diligence or progress in study is consistently unsatisfactory, who are over-aged, whose conduct is harmful to others, or whose guardians show little interest in the progress of their wards.
No child will be exempted from games, drill, etc., unless a Medical Certificate is produced.
During school hours, no student is allowed to leave the classroom without the permission of the Teacher or until the class is dismissed. Written permission of the Principal or Supervisior is required for a student to leave the premises of the school, during school hours. Breach of these rules will be viewed seriously.
No pupil will be called to answer phone calls during class hours. Mobile Telephones should not be brought to school.
No sale of any kind and no collection for any purpose whatsoever, is to be started without the Principal’s permission.
No books (other than text books and school library books) may be brought to school without the Principal’s Permission.
The school is not responsible for articles lost. It is not advisable to bring valuable articles such as expensive watches, fountain pens, gold ornaments etc. to the school. Books and other belongings should be marked with the name and class.
Any kind of damage done in the school premises will have to be made good.
Redressal Cell : There is a Redressal Cell operational in the school for the benefit of all parents and students. Any issue pertaining to school Function and Activity should be brought up for discussion here. Parents and students are advised to take recourse to this cell for any problems or issues that may need discussion or solution.
Attendance & Leave
As regular attendance is an important element for successful work, leave of absence should invariably be obtained in advance in writing. For serious reasons as in case of illness or other unforeseen circumstances, the girl, on returning to the school must have the reason for absence certified by her parent/ guardian in absence record page of this dairy. The teacher in charge of the class may not admit the girl to class, unless the leave note countersigned by the Principal, or the one in charge, is produced. Applications for leave should be written in the School Diary against the corresponding date.

A student who is late without previous permission will not be admitted to the class unless the reason is recorded on the relevant page of the dairy by the parent.
Parents are requested not to call their children away from school before the school gets over.
Children will not be sent home in an emergency with any one who might come for them during school hours, without a written request from the responsible parents/ guardian whose name has been noted in this Diary.
Every Pupil returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should produce the doctor’s certificate permitting her to attend school.
Children who are ill should not be sent to school to attend class or answer the tests. Ill health affects the pupil’s performance and may also spread contagion. In case of illness, promotion is settled on basis of the term’s work and general performance during the year. No exams or re-exams will be given to any student.
Students who absent themselves from school for a period of fifteen days(or less depending on situation) and especially after the re-opening of school without prior sanction of leave or timely intimation to the school in cases of emergency, are liable to have their names dropped from the rolls and their seats allotted to others without further notice, because of the pressure for admission. Absence on the reopening day is a serious breach of discipline. Non-availability of tickets will not be accepted as a reasonable excuse for such absence.
The attendance for the students of Std. X & XII must be above 90% of the total number of working days from June to February.
Mt. Carmel’s Eco Club takes care of nurturing the environment and the cleanliness of the school.
The school’s Social Service Club has been teaching this lesson to all its member students.
