Mount Carmel High School, Ahmedabad was established in the year 1923 for the education of girls. It is a Minority Catholic Institution managed by the Sisters of Apostolic Carmel — a congregation of Catholic Nuns headquartered at Bengaluru.

Called to live in God's presence and sharing Christ's mission to transform the world in love, we strive to draw out the full potential of our students, fostering in them the rich values of our Christian and Cultural heritage.

The school runs from Standards V–XII in both English and Gujarati medium, catering to girls from all communities without distinction of caste or creed.
